The Hobo Camp is an RV living community with the full timer in mind and an adult oriented campground. The park itself is a very quiet place but if activities are what you are looking for there are plenty of places to go and have fun.
Go take a walk on the Colorado River Walk in Bastrop and get some exercise while taking in the fresh air rolling off of the river. It's a sight you soon will not forget.
Go visit the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History which was founded in 1980 as a non-profit educational foundation or take the historic journey through Bastrop, Be sure to visit McKinney Roughs Nature trails,only 1/2 mile from the park.

ColoVista Country Club is home of one of the finest golf courses in the state, a scenic and challenging 18 hole, par-72 golf course. It is located only minutes east of Bastrop. ColoVista Country Club is one of the premeire golf courses in the area, boasting some of the most beautiful hole locations in Texas. Take an early morning off and go hit the links for a few hours. Not only is it a good way to spend a day but you just might shoot your best score yet. |
